Alfred G. Gilbert

Irondequoit: August 16,1925-November 20,2017 Al grew up on the banks of the Ohio River in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was a proud veteran of World War II. He graduated MIT, worked at Kodak for 20 years where he retiring in 1971. Al and Joyce enjoyed their remaining years at Voyager. Al not only built boats in Taiwan he built many in America including the Harbor Town Belle and ran it until his death. Al loved to challenge people which lead to abundant conversations.
