Obituary

Anne (Nina Stubler) Lasponara

Ogden: Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at age 62 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother, Madeline C. Stubler; brother, William F. Stubler. Survived by her father, William R. Stubler; husband, Gerard R. Lasponara; son, Gerard R. Lasponara; siblings, Susan (Paul) Scholl, Catherine (Gary Wiggins) Salerno, Elizabeth (Gary) Cranmer, Peter (Dawn) Stubler; sister-in-law, Mary Stubler; dear friends Lisa Cook, Margarita Wise, and Sara M. Geiger, many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Nina was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney H.S. and S.U.N.Y Geneseo. Her career included jobs in the banking and IT industries. She had an eye for vintage glassware and collected many fine pieces over the years. Nina inherited her mother's artistic talents. In recent months, she crafted exquisite rosaries which she gifted to St. Christopher’s church. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

"We greatly appreciated everything you did to make dad’s funeral special and unique. If he could thank you himself he would. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you ever so much."
