Today, the company is a leading provider of emergency medical services across Monroe, Orleans and Wyoming counties as well as non-emergency medical transportation across Western New York. Eileen has been quoted as saying her motivation was the ability to influence the well-being of customers by providing well trained professionals and state-of-the art equipment. Nearly 300 professionals now dedicate themselves to her vision of quality, compassion, and integrity in the delivery of medical services.

Predeceased by her parents, Carl and Gertrude Bayer; her husband, Thomas H Coyle. Survived by her children, Cheryl Fowler, Karen Mercer (Jonathan), Kathie Plane (Paul), Cynthia Coyle, Thomas C. Eileen’s leadership and influence extended far beyond the realm of Monroe Ambulance. She previously served as President of the National Association of Women Business Owners, President of the New York State Ambulance Association, and was a Board member for the Rochester Women’s Network.

Eileen Coyle was honored with numerous awards throughout her career including the Greece Chamber of Commerce’s Businessperson of the Year in 1995, the Rochester Safety Council’s Distinguished Service Award in 1998, and the 2001 Active Community Entrepreneur Award from the Rochester Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She was a pioneer in the Emergency medical services and in the community, her leadership role was not only limited to her professional career but extended to her family and friends as well. Her love for her family and cheerful disposition was on display for all to see throughout her life. She taught her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the difference between right and wrong and having passion in their lives.
