Obituary

Rochester: January 15, 2009 at age 87. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Jean K. Mason, son, David (Mary) Mason; daughters, Donna (Richard) Jeary & Janice (Anthony) Palumbo; grandchildren, David Henry mason, Kristin Jeary, Brian Jeary, Tony “TD” (Meghan) Palumbo, Katie Palumbo, Kevin Palumbo & Jeffrey Palumbo; great-grandchild, Shane Niesen; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends.

Henry is a Veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. He was also a long-time member of the VFW Keith Miller Post and a member of the Eagle’s Club. Henry is a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company (where he enjoyed playing on their softball team) and worked for Blanchard Florist for over 18 years.

Friends may call Monday, 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday 11 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633 or to the American Brain Tumor Association
2720 River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018 in his memory.
