Obituary

Jane E. Litolff (Gibson)

Greece - peacefully passed on March 22nd at her home in Atlanta, Georgia, at 80 years old. With her children bedside, she reunited with her husband, Robert J. Litolff; and her parents, Donald and Frances Gibson (Herle). Jane was born in Rochester and remained a lifelong resident until last year. Jane graduated from Charlotte High School and was active in organizing her class reunions. She and Bob enjoyed 59 years of marriage until his death last year. Jane was a loving mother to her children; LouAnn Hill (Alvin), Brenda Barber (Thomas), Robert C. Litolff, Donald Litolff (Bonnie DeZarn) and Amy Johnson (Halford). She was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, who will dearly miss her sweet smile and warm hugs. She is survived by her brothers, George Gibson (Janice), Kenneth Gibson (Peggy) and sister, Diane Travis (Tom Flaherty). Jane embraced a large network of family and friends who were always welcomed to sit at her kitchen table for chats and laughs. "She was with us when we took our first breath And we were with her when she took her last."

Friends may call Friday (April 5th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. The family is deeply grateful for the care received from Kindred Hospice/Grace Hospice Foundation. Donations welcomed in her honor. www.curohealthservices.com/donate. "We greatly appreciated everything you did to make dad’s funeral special and unique. If he could thank you himself he would. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you ever so much."
