April 10, 1930 - February 20, 2010


Greece: Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Saturday, February 20, 2010. Predeceased by her sister, Betty Malone. Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Thomas Meade; sons, John ( Mary Beth) Meade, Kevin (Ivonne) Meade; grandchildren, Bridget Meade, Kyle Meade and Emilio Oliver; brothers, John McGing of NY City; Michael McGing of Ireland; sisters, Sally Hill of Baltimore, Kathleen and Christine of Ireland; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Highlands at Brighton for their loving care given to Maureen.

Friends may call Tuesday 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 9:30 AM at St. Mark’s Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice in her memory.
