GREECE: February 28, 2018 at age 87. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Donna (Law) Snell; daughters, Janet M. (Pierce) Fees of North Tonawanda, NY; Virginia Prill, of Rochester; Sharon (Ken) Bartter of Rochester; son, Robert Paul (Deborah) of Scituate, MA.; four stepchildren, Keith (Liz) Law of Pleasant Hills, CA; Brenda (Nick) Tea of Tianjin, China, Scott (Andrea) Law of Clarence, NY, Mark (Mary) Law of Irondequoit, NY.; 25 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard, of Rochester; many nieces, nephews, cousins. He is predeceased by brothers, Raymond & Walter, both of Rochester; sisters, Mary Jane Rabideau and Arlene Alessi, both of Rochester.

Paul was born in Rochester on March 9, 1930, the son of the late Herbert J. and Mary M. (Hassett) Snell. He attended Sacred Heart Cathedral School and Aquinas Institute (Class of 1948.) During the Korean War, he enlisted and proudly served as a corporal in the United States Air Force including a one year tour of duty in Greenland. Following his honorable discharge, Paul attended the University of Rochester earning a Bachelor of Science degree while raising his family and pursuing his career in film services at Eastman Kodak Company where he was employed for many years as a product engineer. After his retirement he had a second career with the Internal Revenue Service.

Paul had many interests during his lifetime. He was an avid pool player and golfer, winning championships in both in Kodak leagues. Paul and Donna enjoyed biking, camping, birding, spending winters in Florida and Arizona, and vacationing abroad including a trip to China. Paul was also an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan.

Pauls visitation will be Thursday, March 8, 2018 10:00AM -12:00 PM. followed
by remembrances at 12:00 in the chapel of Vay- Schleich and Meeson funeral home, 1075 Long Pond Road. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Stroke Foundation in his memory. For more information and to sign his online guestbook, visit
